On Thursday June 21, 2012 the new moon was sighted from Israel. The moon was first sighted:

• from Jerusalem by David Cachicas at 7:43pm and shortly thereafter by Oriana Torres, Rick Busenbark, and Aryeh Levi;
• from a second location in Jerusalem by Yoel Halevi at 7:45pm and shortly thereafter by Nehemia Gordon and Devorah Gordon;
• from a third location in Jerusalem by Shiloh David and Hinanit David at 8:02pm.
