Beautiful prayer in Hebrew.
I have the printed copy in Hebrew. I just need to hear how it sounds.
I have purchased many of your books and DVDs. Thank you for your insights to the Scriptures , it has helped me tie together details over looked from a western or (goyim) view. I pray many realize the hidden details of the Torah and in the (New Testament), context is so important. I also study Torah with Tom Bradford of Torah Class . It helps me untangle the confusing issues of (Truths) , Gods Word and the traditions of men.
Shalom!
Dear Nehemia, thank you so much for your ministry, sending a word of encouragement to keep teaching the Word of Yehovah. Blessings 🙌

I would really love to learn to pray to the Lord in Hebrew But I do not have a lot of money to pay someone to teach me the language.
You can go on YouTube. Great teachers.
If you get the transliteration you can pronounce the words as they would in Hebrew
Great website pray that everything i pray wpould come through.
todah rabah for this teaching
Thanks for teaching us the treasures of the holy Torah, and about the new testament too.
Thank you, I’m learning this Hebrew language and this site with the Lords Prayer is absolutely amazing. I’m trying to learn it by heart. Thanks, and God bless you.
Dear Nehemia thank you very much for the Lord’s prayer in Hebrew, I am learning Hebrew as well being lead by the Ruach Hakkadesh, having the desire to learn to read Gods word from the original text, now that I’ve came into the knowledge that all of the Bibles have been tampered with in some way, shape or form by adding to it or taken from it, apparently they don’t care about the punishment the Father said would come to them in (Revelation 22:18-19 “And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. 19. And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.) The prayer is very different then how we were taught to say it, question though at the end of the prayer you don’t say and in the name of Immanuel (aka Jesus) as Paul writes to the Colossians 3:17 “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Immanuel ( aka Jesus), giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Thats missing in the prayer. Do you have any other prayers or scriptures in Hebrew translated to English like the one on this page? If so may I have the website please?
Thank you very much, I can now say the Lord’s prayer in Hebrew, which is a lot different than the way they say it in English. I need to study the word of Adonai from the original text that has not been tampered with, a lot of the translation has been either added to or taken away, mostly added to. Adonai though promises a severe punishment in Revelation to those who are and take away from his word. I don’t understand though why the Father allowed that, being that his word is Holy.
This is wonderful to be able to say the hebrew words as spoken word for word.thank you very much.
Morning may you please do psalm 23 in Hebrew
Nehemia Gordan I thank you for coming in with I believe Rabbie Messer in the woman’s prison I was in over 6 years ago. You helped place this desire to know GOD’S true name within my heart. I’ve been calling HIM YAH, until a couple weeks ago when I came across your teaching on finding HIS true spelling of HIS name, and now I call on HIM by HIS true name. I thank you for that, I’m excited and encouraged again.
I am so trying to learn this I wish I could download to my phone
During Christmas I shared this with my daughter and my grandsons and it was wonderful! My son-in-law said that he was going to share it with his class at church! Gods blessings are everywhere, you just have to look for them. Thank you for sharing this!
Just curious. Are these Hebrew words coming from the original Hebrew scripture from where the Vulgate and Septuagint came from, or were translated from the Latin, or Greek, or the English text that we have now? Please do not get me wrong. I am not questioning your authority on the Hebrew language. I just would like to know if there are original Hebrew text of, for example the 4 Gospels in the New Testament. Thank you very much.
Coming across this prayer in Hebrew has been a blessing to myself and my family!!!! So grateful to have stumbled upon this site. Use this during homeschool. Much blessings to you.
Shalom,
I would like to know whether you would consider doing the Ten Commandments in Hebrew also?

Thank you very much! For me I feel closer to the Lord saying it in Hebrew. It may take a year for me to learn by heart but His prayer will always be in my heart. It’s meaning is deeper than what it may sound like I feel. As I let the Holy Spirit lead me to a deeper meaning, again thank you!
I agree with you Kevin. I am able to teach my grandson and he loves learning his LORD’s Prayer in Hebrew.
Thank you Nehemiah,
We here in Papua New Guinea love it, Hebrew, Transliteration and Translation, all in one. Thank you ?
We are thinking of something similar for the Tanakh, YHWH willing. I will send a separate message soon.

Greetings from Italy.
Great way to learn. Thanks.
Such an amazing resource. It is such a blessing to have opportunity to learn this prayer in Hebrew. I am just beginning to learn. Thanks so much guys.
Blessings thankfulness
Thank you, so very much…Such a Blessing…
Shalom. This was working fine, voice and all until a couple of days ago (but I never did see the English translation). Now I cant hear nothing at all. It just scrolls up to the top of the page when I click on a transliteration or Hebrew word. I have Windows 10.1 and Chrome. But I also tried it on Firefox and Edge latest editions with no success. 🙁 My study partners are also having similar problems with it. It’s a wonderful resource and I hope it will work again soon. Thank you for providing it.
It’s working now. Thank you for letting us know! We don’t have a large staff, so we rely on you guys to let us know about problems so we can try and fix them. If you have further problems, please let us know through the contact page.
Took me 2 days per line but I finally got it in my head. I guess my accent is atrocious, but yeah, one of those things. Thank you so much. I second the suggestion that Psalms would be a great pleasure to master in your language. More specifically Psalm 23. I hope you will consider it. Kind regards.
Thank you so much for this,
I have been researching the Hebrew roots of my Christian faith for over a year now. I found you gentlemen just recently and have watched many of your talks. I also recently purchased a Restoration Study Bible from Yahweh Restoration Ministries. This Bible is based on the KJV, but the name of God,and Jesus are now used as they should be (Yahweh, Yahshua, Elohim, Adonai, and so on). Strong’s Hebrew and Greek dictionaries are included.
If you ever have the opportunity to review this Bible, I would very much like to hear your opinion.
Thank you again,
Shalom
David
If you have been paying attention, you would know Nehemia and Keath teach and prove that the name is not Yahweh, but is Yahovah. Wouldn’t be great if the whole Tanakh could be displayed this way?
This is so amazing and HELPFUL! The Psalms would be amazing like this teaching too, if you have the time and inclination to teach us. I want to pray in Hebrew so much and know what I’m saying I can hardly stand it! Thank you for this beautiful teaching of the Lord’s Prayer. Yashua HaMashiac bless you and yours forever. I will gladly receive ANYTHING you wish to teach about Hebrew. TODA RABA! Shalom Alechiem!
I love this thank you

This is so awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this! This is a goal of ours to recite this and read the Hebrew letters too.
Thank you! Joe Montiel and family!
Thanks Nehemiah & Keith! this is great and works very well on my tablet. Much love from your fans in Michigan!
Thank you for this wonderful resource. Very cleverly set up. Looking forward to using it more. Shalom!
Nechemya you rock brother. You and Keith are doing an awesome job of sticking to the ”Fathers word” rather than the misguided words of man meant for manipulation and control of the less educated masses. Thanks for all of the hard work and countless hours of study you have put into learning the truth for yourself and then taking the time to share it with us. Let the name of YEHOVA be praised forever!
Hi is there a text version of the hebrew text available thanks!
I learned to read hebrew and, I guess it’s interesting to know all the versions found, but I enjoyed another version.
This is amazing and I am so very grateful to have it to learn from. Thank you
Thank You Teacher
Awesome! Thank you guys so much!
Thank you Nehemia.
Wonderful work… well done and thanks!
Jehoshua always said over and over that His kingdom was not of this world; we are to bring the higher realm to eretz ha-ze.
Isn’t the tav without a dagash pronounced “th” not “te”?
Is that Keith’s voice? Man, he sounds como Israeli!
Thanks Nehemiah …. just wondering what Hebrew word you used for “temptation”.
Thank you Nehemiah for this excellent learning tool! But to make it perfect, could you change it a little bit so it will look like a interlinear transliteration (word for word).
Florida.
Toda Elohim . Thanks a lot from Bahía Blanca, Argentina.
Actually, my bad. Seems that most scholars accept that Jesus would have spoken in Hebrew most of the time. The “error” comes because in some places Aramaic is used, however according to most scholars today the “greek” version we have in the synoptic Gospels is really Hebrew translated word for word into Greek. Nevertheless my latter two comments still seem valid.
Interesting; given that Jesus spoke most of the time in Aramaic, perhaps you can indicate what the differences are between Hebrew and Aramaic. I understood that it was actually more the way it was spoken rather than the written version.
When you say “Jewish Rabbis” do you in fact mean Matthew or do you have a different perspective on who wrote it/preserved it?
Also I do agree that a proper translation of the Old and New Testament is required – I find that there are many incorrect translations in the Greek as well as in the Hebrew – in part this is to do with historical Church politics.
I Just need to point out for some of the people who commented here that some parts of the New Testament were originally written in Greek (e.g. Luke’s Gospel, book of Acts, most of Paul’s letters etc) and so a Hebrew version would be inappropriate.
Hello
I can not get this to work. I have tryed any times..Can you help
Thanks
Sister Waya
What system are you using (Windows 7, MacOS X, etc.) and which browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.)? My first suggestion would be to try a different browser. Also, you must wait for all the files to download, which might take a minute or two on a slow connection (I’m in China over a VPN and it takes about 30 seconds for me).
Sorry… I’ve tried 3 different browsers and still no translation
It seems to be working for most people. Just to clarify: You hear the sound, but do not see the translation?
I see a transliteration that you can listen to the sound… and the Hebrew with the nikud.. but no English translation
Ah… I see it when you click on the Hebrew… it then shows a translation
Eureka!
this is a huge blessing. Thankyou both nehmiah and Keith
Dear Nehemia, dont get me wrong but actually the american accent on hebrew is just misleading, for some americans normal, but for others a bit “unhebrew”
I’m sure that’s what the Judeans said when they heard Peter speaking in his heavy Galilean accent.
.
A great prayer to learn. Although I’ve been teaching myself some Hebrew, It would be nice to know what the english translation of the words would mean so that I can add to my vocabulary
You should be able to see the English translation above the Hebrew. If you don’t see it, please try opening it in a different browser.
19. Nehemia and Keith,
Tremendous! What a wonderful learning tool! Thanks for ever!

Thank you Nehemiah for your rapid reply. I guess my formative education in a New York Yeshiva leaves me a bit concerned and biased about reciting the Pater Noster, a prayer so central to Christianity, and written by followers of Jesus. I am certain that you or the other Hakhamim could find a prayer more appropriate to the teachings of Jewdaism in general and Karaite philosophy specifically.
Please clarify, which part of the content of this prayer is not appropriate for the teachings of Judaism? Would a lesson on prayer to angels or tzadikkim be more appropriate to the teachings of Judaism?
As for me, I find this prayer focusing upon a desire for the clearing of the Creator’s title to, and ownership of, each one and all among His created beings, not to mention all the rest of His creation! That is, a prayer designed to make me, you, and all, more apt to give our Maker the recognition He deserves as the Designer, Creator, and Owner of all.
Who needs a clouded title unto that which is truly His own???!
Truly a prayer bringing out the very essence of the TaNaCh message!

thanks for this but I do question the ending rah A men sounds Egyptian and referencing an Egyptian deity A men Rah, is Amien which is so be it or perhaps Yahmein more appropriate ? just saying… Berekyahu and shalom
Nehemiah I am confused. Is the Lord’s Prayer a prayer appropriate to be recited by Jews, especially those who follow Karaite traditions. The prayer is after all from the New Testament (Matt. vi. 9-13; Luke xi. 1-4), and as such is not part of the what we believe to be the Words of G-D. If you have changed your religious philosophy and now follow the teachings of Jesus, perhaps that should be disclosed.
Hi Roger, Karaite Jews traditionally pray a number of prayers that are not part of the Tanakh. For example, Ein Keloheinu has been a part of communal Karaite services for centuries. If there is something in the “Our Father” prayer that is contrary to the Tanakh, I would love to hear about that. I would invite you to read my book “A Prayer to Our Father” for more information.
Thank you for not giving the Yiddish pronunciation. It is so hard to understand east-coast rabbi’s when they speak, trying to figure out what is an authentic ‘s’ sound and what would be read as ‘th’. Todah.
Breathtaking. Thank you!
Very, very cool. Can you give up your secret on what plugin you used to do the click and speak function?
Thanks Nehemiah,I have bookmarked this for instant access….there is one thing….As I already read and speak Hebrew (I’m not a physical Judain…) I find your English translation somewhat disconcerting because it reads left to right….I suspect that it’s not possible to type English to read right to left…but I’m sure it would make learning Hebrew a lot easier if it were poss…
Blessings and shalom.

Worked fast on my old computer. With Windows 7 on Chrome. Thankyou!
Works on my nexus phone after I maxed the volume .. Great idea!
How very cool ….Thank you so very much!
Works perfectly using Fedora 20, with chrome browser.
Works on Chrome and Firefox on Win8.1 Update. Thank you.
אני חושב שצריך להיכתב -תתברך מלכותך- כי מילת מלכות הרי היא לשון נקבה. וגם צריך להיכתב -ותתן לחמנו תמיד- כי זה תואר הפועל ולא תואר השם.
תודה
אולי זה מה שאמור להיכתב לפי הדקדוק, אבל יש הרבה מקרים בספרות קדומה שיש אי התאמה במין ובמספר. בכול מקרה, ככה זה מופיע במקורות.
אלפי תודות
works perfect, have windows 7, Firefox – in Texas
Thank you, Nehemia, for translating this. Bless you!
Nexis 7 android ,no browser, good volume with headset. Too low to hear without headset.

Thank you Neh, this is amazing to read and learn in Hebrew!
I am wondering if you have ever thought about producing a Holy Bible, Nehemia Gordon translation? I do not think that I am the only one who wants to know, what has been lost in translation for so long.
I really enjoyed your book," A Prayer To Our Father" and I also enjoyed reading Keith Johnsons, "His Hallowed Name Revealed Again". What a outstanding team you and him make.
Thank you for all your work, am looking forward for more.
Samuel.
Though not an NG version, I am working on a Tree of Life Time © ToL version with a focus upon such as pertain to Scripture date stamps, the Creator’s own calendar and Biblical/Hebrew reckoning of time… All of which adds up to a much more accurate ancient chronology than what’s been available for at least a couple of millenia. Or at least so it seems to me. Please enjoy, share, and be blessed!: http://adamoh.org/TLT.htm
Thank you so very much for posting this. Here lately I've had such a burning desire to understand Hebrew to better under my Lord Jesus.
Thanks for your prompt reply Nehemia.
Is there an indicator that files are loading, other than browser? I allow the page to load – and when it says 'done' (at the bottom left of my browser), then I tried clicking on the words.
I use Firefox (fully updated). Imac, fully updated..with various tweaks loaded to enable windows based things to be compatible. No probs with other audio/video on other sites. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
There is no sound when I click on the words. I'll try again later to see if it works. Is anyone else having trouble hearing when they click on the words?
Such a wonderful resource. I hope I can get it to work so i can learn this prayer in Hebrew.
Also, could you do the Shema in Hebrew like this one? I'm trying to learn the Shema in Hebrew:).
Yah bless!!
To get it to work you need to let all the audio files download before you click anything. This might take a few minutes, depending on your bandwidth and computer set up.
Nehemiah, thank you so much for doing this. I love hearing it in Hebrew
Thank You Nehemia !
I am so excited and so full of emotion that I cannot describe by praying this prayer in Hebrew. My spirit is so filled with overwhelming joy. He has blessed me. May He continue to bless you as you bless others. This is so WOW!!
I have no idea how long this post will stay up but I plan on coming here as often as I can.
God is so very good.
Thank you, this has been such a big help, my children and I are learning this prayer together. I have forwarded it to many of my friends too!
Shalom,

I have wanted to learn Hebrew for a while now but could never afford the prices online "teachers" charge. Here, at least I can learn the Avinu (Lord's Prayer). Praise God!
I have a free class on Monday evenings. We are starting the Hebrew Primer again if you wanted to join us. It is a conference call class.
Wow. I found this yesterday and prayed through it 3 times. Words cannot describe the emotion of praying to the Father in His own tongue. Like visiting a foreign country and seeing them smile when we try to converse in their native tongue rather than forcing them to speak in our own. This morning, I prayed through it again. Thank you for posting this. I hope to share it with others and will post about it on my blog.
What a great resource
Shalom
Thank you Thank you Thank you! What a wonderful help this is. I'll be reposting to my homeschooling blog!
